EURO GRASS Breeding StationsThe Euro Grass breeding and selection work is mainly carried out at the breeding stations in Asendorf (Germany), Ven-Zelderheide (the Netherlands), Les Rosiers (France) and Wardington (United Kingdom). Asendorf concentrates on turf grass breeding and some forage grasses where as Ven Zelderheide solely concentrates on forage grass breeding. Perennial ryegrass is also bred in Wardington as this species is widely spread inside Europe and turf grasses are also bred in Verneuil (France) by REGA. The strengths and the weaknesses of the germplasm and the varieties can be identified by the different soil and climatic conditions at the various locations. Several further worldwide testing locations supplement the international testing network. As a result, Euro Grass offers products which completely correspond to the needs of the customers of the forage and the turf grass business. |
